Precision machined upright for TAMIYA models

This aluminum front upright has been machined for scale fitment on TAMIYA Hotshot, Bigwig and Boomerang buggies. The gun metal finish and metal construction replace the original plastic part to improve durability and give a firmer mounting for steering linkages under repeated track use.

The design accepts a 5mm long ball connector commonly used with Tamiya linkages. It keeps steering links and wheel hubs in the intended geometry, making it useful for restoring older kits or upgrading to a more rigid front end with less flex at the pivot.

When installing, remove the original upright and carry over wheel hub and bearings as necessary. Fit the long ball connector to your existing linkage and confirm steering travel and toe settings after assembly. Typical RC hex drivers and maintenance tools are sufficient for the swap.

This upgrade is compatible only with the TAMIYA models listed in the product title and is targeted at 1/10-scale buggy enthusiasts and vintage Tamiya restorations.
