The O.S. Engine OS44866100 pushrod cover is designed to improve the appearance and protection of the pushrod area on FS-series glow engines used in scale models. The cap helps keep linkages free from grime while giving a cleaner engine bay presentation.

Functionally, the cover offers a small collar around the pushrod opening that directs the pushrod ends clear of adjacent items like throttle linkages and mounting hardware.
