This piston pin is supplied as a direct replacement for piston assemblies bearing the FSa-110 designation. It performs the mechanical function of joining piston and wrist pin area so the piston can pivot correctly within the engine.
Only use this pin where the piston assembly is identified as FSa-110; verify the printed or stamped codes on the piston and rod prior to fitting. The part is intended as a spare specific to that piston family, not as a one-size-fits-all component.
Fitting guidance: extract the piston from the sleeve and examine the bores for wear or scoring, line up the piston and rod bores, press the pin until it is flush with the piston faces, and check that the piston rotates freely on the rod. If binding or visible defects appear, do not continue and inspect the mating parts.
Service impact: although small, the piston pin maintains piston travel and ring seating; replacing worn pins during rebuilds helps retain compression stability and prevents uneven wear on cylinder and piston surfaces.
