Design and purpose

The Futaba FU11K06401 replaces the main gear/VR drive plate inside Futaba S9257, S9301, and S9304 servos. It is made to transmit gearbox output to the servo horn while retaining the VR sensing interface used by these models.

Only the listed Futaba servos are supported, so inspect your servo model before buying. Fitting involves disassembling the servo case and swapping the internal gear stack; preserve original shims and bearings where applicable to keep proper gear mesh and axial play. This item is intended for model servo maintenance and repair.

During tuning or service, install this plate to reestablish VR sensing engagement and replace fatigued gear mounting surfaces. Once rebuilt, check that the servo centres correctly, that the horn aligns, and that movement is free across its travel to avoid binding when refitted in the model.
