This front shock tower mount is an aftermarket component for the Kyosho FW05RR chassis, manufactured in SSG graphite to increase top-mount stiffness. That added rigidity helps control shock assembly flex while preserving a lightweight profile suitable for 1/10 road-race setups.

Replacing the stock tower modifies shock top rigidity and slightly shifts pickup geometry, which can improve steering consistency and front-end predictability. The unit is a direct replacement focused on reliable fit and repeatable behaviour rather than extra mounting adjustments.
