G5 element matched to GGT and GG model engines

This G5 core glow plug is intended for O.S. Engine GGT10, GGT15 and compatible GG series model engines, supplied individually as one plug. It is the standard replacement element for glow-fuel RC engines that accept the G5 configuration within those series.

Fitment steps: remove the engine head cover to access the plug, use the correct glow plug socket to withdraw the old unit, fit the new plug by hand-threading to avoid cross-threading, then snug it to the manufacturer's recommended seating torque. Always use the correct sized tool and do not over-tighten.

Performance considerations: the glow element creates the ignition hot spot and can affect start behavior and idle smoothness. When diagnosing poor running, inspect the plug for electrode wear, proper seating, and secure clip contact to help stabilize needle settings and throttle response.

Precautions: check thread compatibility and the center electrode before finalising installation, work on a cool engine where practicable, and restrict use to RC-scale glow gasoline engines.
