This 1/35 scale model kit portrays the German s.10cm K.18 heavy gun as a display-focused medium-artillery subject aimed at experienced builders and collectors.
Real-world background: The 15 cm s.F.H.18 evolved from earlier World War I designs such as the s.F.H.13, and engineers later adapted the split-trail carriage concept to a 105 mm barrel to produce the 10 cm s.K.18 heavy gun. Both types served as main medium-artillery pieces within German artillery battalions. Published references record the s.F.H.18 with a top range near 13,370 meters and muzzle velocity about 520 m/s, while the s.K.18 is shown with a maximum range close to 19,000 meters and muzzle velocity around 835 m/s.
Kit details and build notes: The set combines injection-moulded plastic parts with several metal items to improve finish on critical elements. The turned aluminum barrel and brass tube offer an accurate external profile and metal bore appearance. A metal tow chain and two thick rubber rims are included for realistic finishing. Decals supply German army field-grey camouflage schemes. Builders should plan for standard adhesives, paints and tools; the kit is unpainted and requires assembly.
An accurately detailed exterior model of a medium artillery piece assembled from injection-moulded plastic and metal components; the kit is ideal for display after careful assembly and finishing.
