This is a 1:72 tracked plastic model kit of the Germany Sd.Kfz.186 JagdTiger (Porsche production) featuring a simulated Zimmerit coating, presented for modellers who focus on compact armoured subjects and historical accuracy.
The Jagdtiger concept emerged in 1943 as a heavy tank hunter intended to defeat enemy armour at long range. Development produced mock-ups by late 1943 and by February 1944 two prototype configurations existed: the Porsche-sprung design with eight road wheels and a Henschel layout with nine road wheels. Production volumes were limited when it commenced in mid-1944, and the vehicle was assigned the Sd.Kfz.186 designation for service as a heavy tank destroyer.
This kit represents the Porsche-built Jagdtiger with its Zimmerit textured coating. The parts list and instructions focus on external panels and the running gear; there is no indication of internal compartment or engine replication. Provided dimensions and part counts will help plan construction and display space.
A detailed small-scale kit of the Porsche-production Jagdtiger with Zimmerit finish, aimed at collectors and builders who value scale realism in confined display spaces.
