The O.S. Engine pulse spacer is an accessory for R/C glow engines that sits at the engine mount or exhaust flange ahead of the manifold. It is intended to let hobbyists tweak pulse timing and the way pressure waves interact around the intake and exhaust on small displacement model engines.
Installation is straightforward for those familiar with engine mounts: fit the spacer at the flange, secure it using the engine's existing bolts, then confirm alignment and a proper seal. No specialist gear beyond a standard hex driver set is normally required, but always check flange faces and any gaskets before final assembly.
Functionally the spacer alters both the timing and amplitude of pressure pulses reaching the intake and exhaust interfaces, which can change throttle response and the usable tuning range for the engine. Make adjustments one variable at a time and note results to assess the spacer's effect on performance.
