Mounts for Front and Rear Skid Plates

Designed for the 1/10 Gmade R1 Rock Buggy chassis, this mount set includes both front and rear locations used to secure skid plates. The layout mixes aluminium with plastic so abrasion zones use tougher metal while flexible sections absorb shocks.

Purpose and tuning: the mounts locate the skid plate and take the brunt of rock contact. Swapping out damaged mounts brings back correct plate alignment and reduces ongoing chassis abrasion from rough driving. Aluminium components face high-contact areas and plastic parts help isolate impact loads from the chassis.

Installation tips: parts are modelled to the R1 mounting points and fit at front and rear skid plate positions. Trial-fit before final tightening and hold on to original bolts if you intend to reuse them.
