Can I reuse my stock ball ends?

In most cases stock ball ends fit the turnbuckle ends, but confirm thread and ball stud sizes before reusing components.

Is thread locker recommended?

Use a removable thread locker on the screws if you want to avoid loosening during hard use, then check torque periodically.

Will this affect steering speed?

The lighter aluminium reduces unsprung mass slightly, which can make steering feel crisper especially on rough surfaces.
