Overview of the front upper arm tie rod

This front upper arm tie rod kit is intended for TEAM LOSI MINI-T 2.0 2WD chassis. It uses a machined aluminium 6061 T6 centre piece teamed with stainless steel screws to provide a firm yet corrosion-resistant steering link suited to lap work and casual running.

The assembly affects steering geometry and front support. Adjustment is achieved via opposing threads; place a tool in the positioning hole and rotate to extend or shorten the link until the desired toe or steering response is achieved. Adjustments should be tailored to each chassis and driving condition.

Kit contents are two front upper arm tie rods plus four stainless steel round head screws 2.5x10, supplied as a 6pcs set. Note that factory positions are initial settings and further tuning is required after installation.

Use this set to replace aged steering links or when refining toe and steering on a MINI-T 2.0 2WD. Secure fasteners with suitable thread locker, confirm steering travel, and fine-tune length using the positioning hole for stable handling.
