Silicone gasket for diff carrier

This pair of silicone gaskets is produced as a replacement sealing set for the differential carrier fitted to TRAXXAS E-REVO scale models. Intended for hobby use, the parts are supplied as aftermarket components under part code ER011/P.

Silicone material balances compliance and resistance to compression, so the gasket maintains a close seal around the carrier joint without permanent flattening in normal operation. Good sealing reduces gear oil loss and helps maintain a stable lubricant environment for internal gears and bearings.

To install: clean the carrier faces to remove old grease or sealant, press the gasket into the carrier recess, and assemble the carrier halves with even screw torque. Avoid overtightening and confirm the differential turns freely before reinstalling in the model.

If the gasket remains undamaged and not overly compressed, it can be reused, but inspect for cuts or permanent squashing before refitting.
Yes, the gaskets are compatible with typical gear oils; ensure no external contaminants are present when reassembling.
Normally the gasket alone provides the seal; avoid excess sealant that could prevent correct seating or squeeze out into bearings.
Keep the mating surfaces clean, avoid over-torquing, and replace the gasket if it shows signs of permanent compression or damage.
