Product details for the YZ-4 front tower

This front shock tower is a purpose-cut graphite component for YZ-4 cars. The 4mm graphite sheet lowers weight at elevated points on the nose while preserving solid shock mounting bosses.

Functionally the design aims to curb excessive roll by taking weight off the high front zones and giving the front shocks a firmer anchorage, so the dampers operate nearer their intended travel when the vehicle encounters rough sections. It pairs with the kit's straight-type suspension arm setup.

Installation tip: the part swaps directly for the original front tower and uses the existing YZ-4 mounting locations for flat suspension arms. Expect a noticeably crisper turn-in and diminished body roll once fitted.

Does this require any trimming to fit aftermarket arms?

For standard kit flat arms no trimming is required; if your arms are heavily modified you should check alignment and mounting clearance before final assembly.

Will using graphite affect front axle feedback?

Yes. The stiffer graphite mount transmits more load changes to the shocks, increasing front-end feedback and helping the car settle quicker into a turn.

Any hardware changes needed for installation?

Typically the original kit screws and spacers work fine; verify screw length and thread engagement during fitting to avoid over-tightening the graphite plate.
