Center mounting for precise flex control

The XRAY 354019 center mount is a precision aluminium part developed for GTXE 2027 flat chassis applications where centre flex tuning is important. It adjusts how the chassis midsection reacts to loads so you can fine-tune handling for different track grip levels.

Manufactured from Swiss 7075 T6 and CNC-machined for tight tolerances, this mount provides the stiffness and repeatability expected of premium alloy components. Compared with flexible stock pieces, the aluminium mount reduces variable deflection and stabilises mid-corner balance on high-traction surfaces.

Installation notes: this piece replaces the factory center mount and mounts to the existing GTXE 2027 chassis holes. Confirm bolt engagement and clearance near the gearbox area, and use established torque values. Standard RC tools are sufficient for fitting.

Tuning advice: treat this mount as part of a system setup. Pair adjustments to shock valving, anti-roll measures, and tyre selection to manage understeer or snap oversteer. The increased centre stiffness will alter rotation and transient response, so assess changes across practice laps.

Swiss 7075 T6 offers high tensile strength and good fatigue resistance for structural RC parts, giving predictable stiffness with resistance to repeated race stresses.
Aluminium alloys like 7075 are corrosion resistant in normal use but you should keep the mount clean and dry after running in damp conditions to prolong service life.
Under typical RC loads 7075 T6 performs well, but inspect the mount periodically for hairline cracks if you race hard or after impacts.
Aluminium provides stiffer, more repeatable centre behaviour than plastic, which can flex variably; choose aluminium when consistent mid-corner response is a priority.
