Technical top deck for GTXE

This carbon centre mounting plate is manufactured for the GTXE flat chassis format and is intended to change centre stiffness and the flex behaviour around the drivetrain zone. Machined from carbon fiber, the plate balances stiffness and minimal mass for track-oriented setups.

As a tuning component, the plate shifts how loads move through the chassis: stiffening the middle can stabilise the car under acceleration and during cornering, but it works best when evaluated alongside suspension and weight distribution adjustments rather than as a single fix.

Specifications

  • Item: Center mounting plate
  • Material: Carbon fiber
  • Model Number: 354253
  • Compatibility: GTXE flat chassis

Prior to permanent fitting, test-fit the plate to confirm hole alignment on your GTXE and make incremental setup changes while noting handling differences after each run.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is designed for the GTXE flat chassis pattern; variations in aftermarket or modified chassis may require measuring mounting points to ensure compatibility before purchase.
The plate itself is low profile and should not change ride height significantly, but changes in chassis stiffness can influence dynamic ride characteristics that may require setup tweaks.
The plate is precision machined and supplied ready to fit; check edges and screw holes for burrs and confirm screw length to avoid contact with internal components.
Carry out visual inspections after any heavy impacts and periodically during regular maintenance; look for hairline cracks or separation in the laminate and remove any embedded grit.
Begin with baseline shock and anti-roll settings, then introduce the plate and adjust one parameter at a time while running controlled tests to capture the handling trend.
