Reinforced upper arm for sharper control

This hard upper A-arm is an RC-scale accessory designed for Yokomo R12 and GT family cars. The resin formulation is firmer than standard arms, reducing lateral play and helping the suspension stay settled through turns. Use it as a tuning part to sharpen front-end feedback and limit unwanted arm motion at higher speeds.

Fitting is simple for those used to A-arm maintenance: clean contact faces, confirm ball joint and hinge-pin clearances, and check mirror fit on both sides. The part stiffens the upper link and changes how the chassis reacts under load, delivering a more precise front-end feel without altering basic geometry.

How durable is the harder resin compared to stock?

The stiffer resin reduces flex but can be less forgiving on impact. It improves resistance to lateral play during cornering while still offering reasonable longevity under normal use.

Not required, but pairing with matching front and rear components can balance handling. Inspect adjacent parts for wear and replace any loose ball studs or hinge pins for best results.

Does it affect crash resilience?

A stiffer arm transmits more shock to mounts on heavy impacts. For rough driving conditions, monitor mounting points and consider sacrificial components where needed.
