The 1993 Castrol Honda Civic made a name in the British Saloon Car Championship by using a nimble chassis and the then-advanced VTEC engine to compete with larger machines. James Thompson, aged 19, delivered seven race wins and nine pole positions that season, cementing the car's legacy.
Thompson also raced in the Civic Challenge Cup at Suzuka, finishing in ninth place and demonstrating the Civic's endurance on an international stage. This Hasegawa kit captures the styling cues and race presence of that campaign for enthusiasts to assemble and display.
This limited edition Hasegawa kit is moulded in 1/24 scale plastic and includes a white body shell with a grey chassis. Clear window components, grey wheels and rubber tyres are supplied. The sticker sheet helps replicate the period race livery of the No.76 James Thompson car, offering a rewarding build for detailed modellers.
