Lightweight Brake Stand Built for XRAY RX8.3

The XRAY 344013 Aluminum Brake Stand is a lightweight, precision component for RX8.3 cars, produced from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum to maintain strength while trimming mass. By separating the stand from the rear bulkheads the chassis gains a cleaner flex pattern and better bite at corner exits. The assembly uses a ball-bearing housed in a composite bushing to cut down vibration transfer from the motor for smoother handling on mixed surfaces.

Yes, by isolating the brake stand from the rear bulkheads the chassis flex becomes more controlled, which can improve midcorner traction when tuned with the rest of the setup.

What maintenance does the bushing need?

Periodic inspection for wear and cleaning of the bearing are recommended. Replace the composite bushing if you see play or material degradation.

Is special tooling required to fit it?

Installation uses standard RC tools. Follow XRAY assembly guidance and reuse the factory fasteners where appropriate for correct alignment.
