This tail pitch lever stay fits the Lepton Lex series where specified, acting as the stabiliser and mount point for the tail pitch linkage in the tail boom assembly. It keeps the pitch lever geometry consistent relative to the tail rotor pitch link for dependable control response.
Fitting is straightforward for those experienced with small helicopter tail assemblies: remove the tail boom cover, inspect linkage clearance, swap in the new stay and confirm the lever moves freely through its entire range. Adjust the pitch link incrementally if neutral or endpoint positions need correction.
After installation, verify tail authority and trim stability with cautious hover runs. If any looseness or strange movement is noticed at the pivot, examine adjacent fasteners, linkage ends and bearings rather than forcing components tight, and replace worn linkage hardware as required.
