SX series blade locating bracket

The HI0404542 tail blade holder is a service component for Hirobo SX-series rotorheads. It secures the tail blade into the tail rotor assembly and provides a positive locating point when swapping blades or carrying out routine service on Eagle, Freya and EX machines.

Installation is suitable for anyone with basic helicopter workshop skills: follow your airframe disassembly steps to reach the tail hub or remove the rotor, position the holder to locate the blade shaft and fasten using the correct torque. Use the proper sized hex driver and confirm the blade moves freely through its arc with the tail servo centered before flight.

As part of setup, this holder reduces lateral movement at the blade root to help maintain steady tail behavior. After fitting, recheck blade tracking and tail pitch linkage geometry, then perform a ground hover to ensure stable control response.
