Built between 1968 and 1986 with more than a thousand units completed, the Chengdu JJ-5 played a central training role within the People's Liberation Army Air Force and saw export service. The finished model spans 241.5 mm in length and 201.5 mm across the wings, and the kit contains an option for movable flaps plus a well-detailed engine bay to please detail-focused builders.
