The Hobby Boss 82487 1/35 kit recreates the PLA PLL05 120mm self-propelled mortar-howitzer with a strong focus on scale accuracy. The miniature captures the vehicle's hybrid mortar/howitzer layout and its 6x6 ZSL-92 derived running gear for authentic stance and proportions.
The PLL05 is designed to provide both high-angle fire for close targets and flatter-trajectory shots for longer ranges, giving it tactical versatility. In service the full-size machine can drive at up to 85 km/h on roads and has amphibious capability thanks to its rear propellers.
With over 270 separate pieces, the kit delivers a rewarding challenge for dedicated modellers. Multi-directional slide-moulded sections are used for the hull and turret to preserve accurate contours, and included photo-etched parts enhance fine surface detail. The kit also allows the crew access door to be modelled in either position to suit your vignette.
