Built as a stout infantry support vehicle, the Renault R35 was a French light tank of the Second World War noted for its armor protection rather than speed. Later developments led to the R40 with a stronger gun, but the R35 remained the most numerous French production tank by mid 1940. Captured examples served with German forces and several allied countries across Europe and beyond.
The Hobby Boss 1/35 offering is crafted for scale fidelity. With more than 430 parts, a multi-directional slide-mold turret and a photo-etched detail piece, the kit captures small surface features and internal engine elements that interest advanced hobbyists.
The finished model makes a compact but detailed addition to a WWII lineup or a vignette. Its scale detail and historical profile make it suitable for display cases and scenic dioramas where period authenticity matters.
