Hobby Boss 1/35 Schneider CA - Authentic WWI Armour Replica

The Schneider CA 1 holds a place in military history as the first French tank to be deployed in combat in World War I. Its debut on April 16, 1917 faced setbacks, but later deployments helped blunt enemy offensives and contributed to Allied operations. This Hobby Boss kit captures that early armoured design for scale modellers and museum-style displays.

Construction Highlights and Context

This 1/35 scale model is carefully engineered to echo the original vehicle's silhouette. The set contains over 380 pieces, with photo-etched parts and individual track links to boost realism. Precision slide-moulding on the turret and hull improves alignment and detail, offering an absorbing project for seasoned modellers.

Display Appeal

As a finished model, the Schneider CA makes an informative exhibit of early tank design. Detailed components and faithful proportions help the model stand out in collections and on diorama bases portraying trench-era scenes.

Hi RCJAZ, Have just received Fujimi kit 09116, which is a substitute for an out of stock item (Fujimi 90113). Delivery times for goods purchased from your website are excellent, as is your service, and I would be happy to recommend your store to anyone.
This kit suits confident builders comfortable with fine assembly and photo-etched parts. Expect many small components and careful painting stages.
Use plastic cement for main joins and CA or epoxy for metal-to-plastic bonds. For paint, use primer first then enamel or acrylic colours suited to historical schemes.
Modellers often add extra weathering, rivet detail or crew figures to enhance realism. Scratch-building small stowage items can make a display more convincing.
