The KrAZ-255B became a notable military workhorse after its 1965 introduction, succeeding the KrAZ-214 with improved capability. Hobby Boss has translated that engineering into a detailed 1/35 model comprising over 510 parts on 12 sprues. The kit contains a full representation of the drivetrain, with engine, transmission and suspension elements modelled to give a realistic internal assembly experience.

The finished model makes a convincing display piece. It includes hollow rubber tyres with accurate treads, detailed wheel hubs, clear glazing for the windscreen and windows, and a single photo etched part to add finer surface detail.
