Accuracy in 1/72 Scale UH-60A

Hobby Boss HB-87216 captures the familiar silhouette of the UH-60A Black Hawk at 1/72 scale. The helicopter, powered by twin turbines with a single main rotor, is rendered with attention to its distinctive panels and contours.

The kit is engineered for close-scale fidelity, offering crisp surface detail and well-proportioned rotor components. Model builders will find it rewarding to paint and finish for a display-ready result.

The kit focuses on external accuracy; cockpit detail is present but simplified compared with larger scales, so additional detailing is optional for advanced builders.
Enamel or acrylic model paints both work well; use pre-shading and thin coats to retain the engraved panel lines and subtle surface detail.
No adhesives or paints are included, so plan to use standard plastic cement and model paints to complete the build.
Rotors are modelled for static display; some builders carefully modify mounting points if they want removable or posed blades, but that requires extra caution.
