The Platinum 25A V4 and 40A V4 by Hobbywing provide tight throttle regulation for model flyers. With a 32-bit 72MHz processor on board, these ESCs deliver stable motor control for smooth climbs and predictable cruise behaviour.
Both variants include a switch mode BEC with selectable voltages. The Platinum 25A V4 offers fixed 6V or 7.4V outputs, while the Platinum 40A V4 can be dialed between 5V and 8V in 0.1V increments. The continuous and peak current ratings are 3A/7A and 7A/18A respectively, ensuring proper servo power.
DEO technology enhances driving efficiency and refines throttle feel, which helps keep ESC temperatures lower and can increase time airborne under similar power loads.
Available brake options include Reverse Brake, Normal Brake, Proportional Brake and Brake Disabled to match different aircraft and landing preferences.
Built-in safeguards include thermal protection for the ESC and capacitors, overload protection, throttle signal loss detection and low voltage cutoff to protect the system in demanding use.
A separate programming port supports connection to an LCD program box or a Wi-Fi Module so you can configure settings, monitor flight data and update firmware through the app on iOS or Android devices.
