Compact 4-in-1 ESC for agile FPV craft

The Hobbywing XRotor Micro 40A 4in1 ESC is a space-saving speed controller tailored to FPV pilots building nimble race or freestyle quads. It packs four 40A ESCs, an onboard 5V BEC, and amp/volt telemetry into a slim package suited to small frames.

Stable electronics for consistent throttle feel

Featuring EMF8BB21F16G MCUs at up to 48MHz plus quality MOSFETs and ceramic capacitors, the unit reduces heat and improves efficiency. The multi-layer PCB with 3-ounce copper helps deliver stable current handling even under hard throttle bursts.

Digital protocols and firmware flexibility

Pre-flashed with BLHeli-S, the XRotor Micro supports upgrades through the throttle signal or compatible flight controllers. DShot150/300/600 support lowers signal noise and gives snappier motor response for sharper manoeuvres.

Refined throttle and braking behaviour

Hardware-based PWM gives smooth power curves and quieter operation. The damped light setting enables regenerative braking and quicker motor deceleration for cleaner landings and tighter control through bends.

A good match for lightweight FPV frames, the Hobbywing XRotor Micro 40A 4in1 ESC balances small size with programmable features for race and freestyle pilots.

Yes, the unit supports 2S through 5S LiPo configurations. Choose motor and prop combinations that keep current draw within the 40A continuous rating per channel.
Most modern flight controllers with BLHeli passthrough or dshot signal support will work for firmware updates. Check your FC documentation for passthrough flashing steps.
Mount the ESC where airflow can reach the board, avoid covering it with thick foam, and secure it to prevent vibration. Good airflow helps manage temperatures during race heats.
