This model is a factory finished 1/12 scale plastic replica from Tamiya's Masterwork Collection, supplied ready to display straight from the box.
The road-going Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP arrived in 2019 as a sportbike with clear circuit-derived influence. It uses technologies from Honda's racing development, including a high-output, liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine and streamlined bodywork with internal winglets integrated into the side fairings. The SP trim concentrates on suspension upgrades and advanced electronics to enhance handling on track while retaining road useability.
The finished model focuses on external accuracy over assembly detail. It faithfully reproduces the aerodynamic fairings and internal winglet shapes. The liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine is presented with visible detail, and smaller components such as bolts, the sprocket, and the chain are modelled. The exhaust is given separate weathering to convey a used look. Clear parts are moulded in plastic chosen for clarity. Metal stickers and metal fork-top parts are fitted to increase realism, while wiring is suggested using enameled wire. Tires are solid with authentic texture. A display racing stand is included and the product is packaged in a windowed box suitable for in-box display.
An out-of-the-box finished representation for collectors and display-focused modellers who value surface accuracy and presentation quality.
