Next Series Fujimi FJ-14221 — Honda CT125 (Hunter Cub) non-colour edition

This 1/12 scale kit from Fujimi's Next Series recreates the Honda CT125 (Hunter Cub) as a special non-colour model, supplied with optional components so modellers can vary the final look.

The CT125 Hunter Cub updates the long-running Super Cub concept with a modern 125cc single-cylinder four-stroke, light chassis and raised suspension to suit both city and light trail use. The production design prioritises practicality, robustness and straightforward maintenance over peak performance.

The kit emphasises exterior fidelity and configurable presentation rather than pre-painted parts. The non-colour designation means pieces are provided without a factory finish, allowing full control over paint, decals and weathering. Optional fittings widen display possibilities.

Model construction guidance: injection-moulded parts are intended for cement and traditional modelling assembly. The component layout supports painting of subassemblies such as the frame, wheels and luggage racks before final assembly to protect painted areas and simplify detailing.

Specifications

The kit is 1/12 scale and replicates the Honda CT125, also known as the Hunter Cub.
Yes. The alternate pieces are designed to be interchangeable so you can assemble different luggage or utility setups for varied display styles.
Standard model acrylics or enamels work well. Since parts are unpainted, choose paints and primers suited to plastic modelling for best adhesion and finish.
Paint major sections as subassemblies, fit delicate trim last and use holding jigs or clips during final glue-up to avoid touching finished surfaces.
