Lightweight titanium studs for Cyclone

The 3Racing CY-25 is supplied as a six piece set of titanium ball studs, each with a 4.3mm ball head and 10mm threaded shank, designed for Hot Bodies Cyclone Sport and Racing editions at 1/10 scale. These studs are intended as higher wear resistance replacements to standard steel link hardware used on steering and suspension pivots.

Purpose and fitment: the studs form the fixed pivot point for ballcups on steering rods, suspension arms and other linkage ends. Upgrading to titanium often reduces joint wear and can tighten up steering feel by lowering slop at the ball joint interface, useful for club racers and weekend competitors.

Installation guidance: fit with the correct hex tool and avoid over-torquing to protect the threads, check seating depth and test for free ballcup movement after first use. Clean contact areas and examine bearings before fitting; apply a mild threadlocker only if directed by your chassis instructions. Use only with compatible parts that match the stud dimensions.

Setup advice: change symmetric link points together to keep steering balance. If the steering feels too firm, inspect for binding or inadequate bearing clearance and tweak turnbuckle length or add shims. These studs are a precision upgrade for consistent linkage performance rather than a dramatic handling overhaul.

The package includes six titanium studs only; any spacers or washers must be retained from your original parts if required.
Titanium offers improved resistance to corrosion compared with untreated steel, but regular inspection and cleaning are still recommended in salty environments.
You may notice firmer steering due to reduced joint play; check for binding and adjust geometry if necessary to restore desired feel.
