The JR-THS15-BK steel propeller joint produced by JAZRIDER is an aftermarket replacement designed for Tamiya Hotshot style buggies. It replaces the rotating prop linkage on Hotshot, Hotshot II, and Super Hotshot configurations where the original plastic joint has degraded.
Each pack contains 2 pieces, manufactured to align with the original Tamiya connection points. Because the component is steel, it focuses on longevity and reliable mating surfaces rather than lightness. Choose it when the stock joint shows cracking, looseness, or uneven wear.
Fitment advice: confirm mating surface condition and fastener lengths before installing. Installation may require partial disassembly of the rear driveline area on 1/10 Hotshot family chassis. Only minor trimming is expected if previous repairs modified surrounding parts.
Service note: swapping a worn prop joint can improve steering response and reduce load-induced binding. After fitting, run a low-speed verification and a short trial to ensure silent operation and no residual play. Regular checks and light lubrication at adjoining bearings will extend service life.
