The BJ054 front upper arm is an aftermarket replacement built for the HPI Baja chassis. It mates an aluminium alloy arm to moulded nylon black ball ends to deliver a compromise between strength and pivot compliance when running off-road.
This part is intended to swap directly for the stock plastic upper arm and should fit common HPI Baja suspension carriers and hubs without chassis modification. The nylon ball ends help prevent binding at the joint while the alloy arm reduces unwanted flex during hard landings and high-speed cornering.
Fitting requires basic workshop skills: remove the wheel, undo the original upper arm fastenings, locate the hinge pins or supplied mounts, and check steering sweep for any rubbing. Recheck fastener torque and ball-end seating after initial test runs to ensure safe operation.
Use this alloy upper arm when you want steadier front geometry and less joint wear while keeping installation simple and reversible.
