The GPM BJ208R/L is an aluminum alloy rear adjustable L-shape damper built for HPI Baja platforms. Sold as a 1pr set, the package includes the two rear dampers plus damper oil at 1000 viscosity to give a sensible baseline for tuning response and rebound. The L-shape layout places the cylinder and spring to suit Baja rear suspension geometry while keeping the overall length at 208mm.

This component is an aftermarket upgrade aimed at improving shock life and more consistent damping compared with stock units. The adjustable nature lets you change oil viscosity and spring preload to fine tune compression and rebound, helping traction on loose surfaces and rough trails. Only fit to the compatible HPI Baja models named in the product title.

Fitting advice: install the dampers in the same rear shock locations as the factory L-shape units. Inspect ball-ends and pins for wear before fitting, and bleed any trapped air from the damper while filling to achieve repeatable damping. Use the included 1000 oil as a starting point and experiment with different oil weights for the conditions you run.
