The BJ903R alloy rear skirt is a purpose-made replacement that strengthens the lower rear section of HPI Baja-style bodies. Built from aluminium, the skirt fastens to the stock bumper or body mounts to reduce rear flex and improve abrasion resistance on rough terrain.
Fitment follows common Baja mounting points and typically uses the vehicle's existing body posts and screws. Remove the rear body shell, align the skirt to the tabs, and secure with the original or supplied hardware. Standard hex drivers and basic hand tools are enough for the installation.
Functionally this part adds rear-body rigidity, which can influence airflow and how debris is thrown clear of the bumper. For setup, run baseline suspension and tyre choices first, then note any handling changes and tweak shock or toe settings to regain the desired rear behaviour.
Ideal when you need a tougher rear lower surface for aggressive off-road use; always trial-fit on your specific shell before final finishing.
