The SBMT283 front and rear CVD swing shaft is a steel replacement part crafted to fit HPI Bullet 3.0 MT and ST models. Using steel #45 increases resistance to wear and reduces flex under heavy load, helping keep driveline geometry consistent in rough terrain.

This component is designed for direct installation into the specified CVD positions on supported HPI Bullet 3.0 MT and ST chassis; double-check retainer clips and fitment before finishing the build. Switching to steel #45 will change drivetrain stiffness and feedback, and those effects should be considered when dialling in traction and throttle control.
