Alloy saver horn built for Bullet 3.0

This replacement horn is an alloy servo saver made for HPI Bullet models. It connects the servo horn to the linkage and takes shock loads from abrupt steering movements or impacts to help protect the servo internals.

The orange anodized alloy surface is more wear resistant and offers a stiffer mating face than the factory plastic piece, while keeping weight low for scale installations. The part is intended as a direct replacement on Bullet 3.0 MT and ST nitro chassis where the OEM saver is worn or when you want a firmer steering response.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the existing horn hardware, swap in the alloy saver, set servo centring and travel limits, then torque the fasteners to the vehicle's specification. Minor linkage tweaks may be required to re-establish neutral steering. Use this as part of regular upkeep or when adjusting steering feel.

Yes, the alloy surface resists wear better than plastic; it reduces long-term degradation at the linkage contact points but may show cosmetic marks after heavy impacts.
You may need small linkage or trim adjustments to restore exact neutral and end points, especially if swapping from a flexible plastic saver to this stiffer alloy unit.
Check the mating surfaces and screw threads after rough runs; remove burrs and tighten hardware to keep the servo protected.
