Steering and support tie rod set

This tie rod kit fits the HPI Racing SAVAGE XL FLUX platform and is supplied as a pair for use on the front steering and rear support positions. Made from spring steel, the links are intended as direct replacements where original plastic or softer metal parts have worn or where a stiffer steering feel is wanted for set up changes.

Installation is suitable for hobbyists with basic linkage experience: detach the existing rods from steering knuckles and drag links, install the new spring steel rods, and fasten with the hardware provided. Confirm thread engagement, avoid excessive torque that could strip threads, and centre the steering before final tightening.

Using spring steel reduces flex relative to stock links which gives a sharper steering input and altered feedback through the suspension. Be mindful that this can affect bump steer and sensitivity, so adjust other suspension settings as part of tuning.
