Aftermarket alloy shock body for Savage 21

This alloy shock body is a direct aftermarket option for the HPI Savage 21, listed as SAV13170/SB. It replaces the original plastic or fatigued aluminium shock cylinder and is designed for use within the suspension cartridge only.

Finished in machined aluminium, the body provides a stronger cylinder wall and more effective heat transfer compared with typical plastic units. Used as a replacement, it renews worn housings and gives a stable base for tuning oil viscosity and internal components to influence damping behaviour.

Service and fitting are standard: detach the shock from the arm, strip the cap and shaft assembly, move or replace internal parts as needed, install the new alloy body, and reassemble before refilling with selected shock oil.
