This aftermarket lower spring retainer is a metal replacement made for HPI Savage 21 scale trucks, supplied as one pair. It locates the lower end of the suspension spring on the shock assembly to keep the spring aligned during setup and on rough surfaces.

As an alloy component, the retainer provides a more rigid option than stock plastic parts, useful when adjusting preload or frequently changing spring rates. It fits Savage 21 chassis that use the common lower retainer form; confirm your shock lower cup dimensions before installation.
