6061-T6 aluminium upper arms for Savage

This two-piece upper arm set is a direct replacement aimed at HPI Savage series models, providing metal support around the gearbox mounts and steering knuckles in place of fragile plastic arms.

Fabricated from 6061 T6 aluminium, the arms improve torsional stiffness at suspension pivots without excessive weight. Delrin collars are fitted into the bore holes to cut down on side play at the hinge pins and to keep movement consistent under load.

Installation swaps out the stock front and rear upper arms using the chassis hinge pins and original fixings. Conduct a simple fit and travel check once mounted to ensure correct alignment and unobstructed suspension movement. These are practical bolt-on pieces for repair, maintenance or tuning work.

Use these aluminium arms to stiffen the upper suspension on Savage models, keep an eye on hinge pin alignment and Delrin seats during regular servicing.
