Replacement alloy C hubs for Savage

These purple alloy C hubs are made as a replacement option for HPI Savage Nitro Off Road chassis. Constructed from aluminium alloy, the hubs locate the steering knuckle and lower suspension link where C-style hub geometry is used on Savage models.

Engineered to cut flex compared with stock plastic components, the aluminium body helps maintain more consistent wheel geometry during heavy off-road impacts. The colour finish is decorative and does not change the mechanical interface. Use original mounting hardware when serviceable, or match thread and size if replacement fasteners are needed.

Installation guidance: remove wheel and hub carrier hardware, eject the original C hub, fit the new alloy hub checking bearing and nut clearances, then reassemble. After fitting, check full suspension articulation and steering sweep to ensure no interference before field use.

Specifications

  • Item: Alloy C Hubs (Purple)
  • Material: Aluminium alloy
  • Model Number: JR-CHP-SAV-031
  • Compatibility: HPI Savage Nitro Off Road Series

These alloy C hubs are a simple, effective upgrade for reducing hub flex and keeping steering geometry stable on HPI Savage cars; confirm your chassis version before fitting.

Aluminium reduces deflection under load, which helps maintain alignment and steering precision during impacts and high-load cornering.
Anodized coatings resist wear and corrosion, but cosmetic marks can appear with heavy use; the coating does not affect hub strength.
Aluminium is stronger than plastic in bending but can deform or crack under extreme impact. Inspect for damage after heavy crashes and replace if necessary.
Apply light anti-seize on steel-to-aluminium interfaces if concerned about corrosion, but avoid contaminating bearing seats or areas that require friction-free movement.
