The HUDY 101090 Plastic Box Set is built to keep a comm lathe safe when moving between the bench and the pits. It comprises a top and bottom section that lock the lathe in place and prevent lateral movement. The base leaves a recess for an anti-vibration pad so the tool runs with less micro-movement.

Is the anti-vibration pad supplied with the box?

No, the kit does not include a pad. The internal space is sized to accept commercially available foam or rubber anti-vibration pads.

How should I clean the case?

Wipe the plastic surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly. Avoid solvent cleaners that can soften the moulded parts.
