The HUDY 101506 Executive Automatic Comm Lathe delivers precise commutator work for slot car armatures. Its middle shaft belt drive and ultra-hardened steel "V" guides help maintain steady rotation and minimise vibration, while the black hard-anodized finish adds protection against wear.

Smooth Operation and Fine Adjustment

Engineered for dedicated hobbyists, the HUDY 101506 spins the armature via a central belt drive for consistent, low-vibration cuts. Ultra-fine-pitch lead screws permit fine tool adjustments, and the backstop screw with a small purple wheel provides controlled automatic cutting speed. Each unit includes an engraved ID for easy identification.

Supplied Items and Setup Notes

The HUDY 101506 arrives with the main motor fitted and a 12VDC power connection already in place, along with gearbox, electronics, switch and connection cable so you can set up quickly. The package includes a carrying case, anti-vibration pads, spare belts, shims to set tool height, and a motor anti-vibration washer. The cutting tool is sold separately; the #101081 Diamond Cutting Tool is recommended for optimal surface finish.
