The HUDY 103040 Abrasive Disk Set is designed for RC modelers who need uniform abrasion for tyre truing. Compatible with Slot Tire Truer and Micro Tire Truer tools, the disks create even contact across the tyre for stable, predictable cornering.

Manufactured for Consistent Grinding

These disks are bonded onto a CNC machined spindle shaft using a precise pressing method to deliver consistent abrasive faces. That process helps minimise vibration during use. Note that bearings are not part of the kit; installing suitable bearings will improve rotational smoothness and result quality.

Uses and Practical Advice

Compatible with a variety of truers, this abrasive set is useful for racers tuning grip as well as hobbyists performing routine tyre maintenance. The controlled abrasion gives you repeatable shaping so you can match tyre feel between runs.

Select bearings that match your truer spindle and offer low runout; high quality bearings with the correct inner diameter will give the best finish.

Will these disks change tyre balance?

When used correctly they help you trim tyres to an even surface, which improves balance rather than introducing imbalance.
