Remove Air Bubbles For Smoother Damping

Owners of on-road 1/8, 1/10 and 1/12 RC cars can use the HUDY 104002 AIR VAC to extract air from oil-filled shocks and diffs. Clearing those micro bubbles improves shock response and reduces wear over time.

Precision Aluminium Platform

The HUDY AIR VAC sits on a precision CNC-machined aluminium base for a rigid work surface. It includes a set of interchangeable holders for shocks and differentials plus a clear plastic cover for visual checking. It also doubles as a way to assist tyre additives to penetrate foam tyres more effectively.

Battery Or Mains Operation And Case Storage

The unit accepts either a 12V power supply or a 7.2V battery (battery not supplied) and features a dependable vacuum pump. Included are holders for various components and a 600mm cable with gold-plated banana plugs. The premium hard case keeps everything organised and easy to carry.

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is designed for the common on-road shock sizes noted. For very small boutique shocks you may need adaptors or custom stands to secure them correctly.
If your charger provides a stable 12V or a compatible 7.2V output and uses banana plug connectors you can power the unit, but verify the connector type and voltage first.
The transparent cover is for monitoring the operation and protecting parts from spills. It is not intended as a heat shield, so avoid high temperature exposure.
