Fitment and Low Height Design

This starter has an ultra-low profile and a dry weight of 575g, helping keep gear light. Adjustable backstops let you fit both 1/10 and 1/8 scale chassis securely, and the support bracket ensures the starter wheel engages properly with the engine.

Construction and Drive System

The housing is CNC-machined aluminium with a hard black finish for lasting durability. A 775-type motor drives the unit through a durable belt system, and power is supplied by two 7.2V battery stick packs (sold separately) for consistent starts.

Practical Operation and Maintenance

Arriving ready to use, the Start-Box features an on/off switch and a robust wiring harness with thick cables and quick connectors to avoid soldering. The starter wheel swaps quickly using the three-screw quick-change layout for minimal downtime.
