Engineered for accurate wheel balance

The HUDY 105505 Wheel Adapter is designed to make balancing easier for 1/5 on-road vehicles and 1/6 buggies. Paired with the HUDY Universal Tire Balancing Station, it supports smoother runs and steadier handling on heavy-scale models.

CNC-machined aluminium and bearing support

The unit features a CNC-machined aluminium holder and a hardened steel rod that spins on ball-bearings for low-friction rotation. A precision hex engages the wheel and the supplied machined tightening nut locks everything in place fast.

Compatible across common scales

Primarily for 1/5 and 1/6 wheels, HUDY also supplies adapters for other scales such as 1/10 touring and 1/8 off-road, so you can balance tyres across different parts of your fleet without replacing your whole station.

Can I use this adapter with foam inserts or inner liners?

Yes, you can balance wheels fitted with foam inserts, but take care to centre the wheel properly on the hex and check the assembly rotates freely before recording balance readings.

The machined tightening nut is designed for secure clamping on standard wheel hexes, including many alloy rims. Confirm the hex interface on custom wheels to avoid slippage.

How do I check whether my wheel will fit this adapter?
