The HUDY 107873 Bumper & Body Space Sponge Set is a compact solution for setting precise body-to-bumper clearance on touring cars. Inside you get self-adhesive foam strips in 1.5mm, 3.0mm, and 5.0mm thicknesses, each 13x155mm long. The strips are intended to fill the gap and prevent the body from distorting or rubbing the surface during runs.

Why It Helps on Road Courses

Filling the void between body and bumper stabilises the shell at speed and reduces the chance of the body dragging on the track. Proper spacing also streamlines airflow around the nose, which can reduce drag on technical layouts.

Fitting Advice

Choose the strip thickness that matches the measured gap and apply the self-adhesive side to the chassis or bumper area. The strips are easy to trim for a tailored fit and require no extra glues or fasteners.
